This policy explains what information StepToMilesCalculator.com ("we", "this site") does and does not collect, in plain language.
The calculator collects nothing
Every calculation runs entirely in your browser. The step counts, height, sex, step length or any other value you enter into the calculator are never transmitted to our server, never stored, and never shared. Closing the page erases them. There are no accounts and no signup.
What is collected automatically
Like almost every website, the server that hosts this site keeps standard access logs. When you load a page, the hosting provider (Hostinger) may record your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and keeping the site running, not for profiling.
Fonts
The site loads the Manrope and Inter typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google receives the technical data involved in any web request, such as your IP address. See Google's own privacy policy for how Google handles that data.
Cookies & analytics
This site uses Google Analytics (via Site Kit) to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are visited and roughly how often. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives technical data such as your IP address; see Google's privacy policy for how Google handles it. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share visitor data. WordPress may also set strictly functional cookies (for example if you ever log in, which visitors do not).
If you email us through the contact page, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and we do not add you to any list.
Children
This site does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. There is nothing to collect — the calculator has no inputs that leave your device.

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page.
